Bring with us the Rainbow Flag to the Hungarian Embassy
Hungarian activists are desperately calling for our support. We have been contacted by them to help them against the malicious attacks on LGBTQ+ persons. The latest one, is the newly introduced amendment by Viktor Orban and his Fidesz Party, that severely restricts freedom of speech and children’s rights by banning LGBTQI-themed educational programs and public service advertisements. The law bans the "portrayal and promotion of gender identity different from sex assigned at birth, the change of sex and homosexuality" in schools and in public service advertisements for persons under 18. This step endangers the mental health of LGBTQI youth by making it harder for them to receive preventive education and affirmative support in due time. This is yet another step that brings Hungary, a Member State of the European Union, closer to Russia which has had similar legislation in place for years now.
Join us and show your discontempt and anger with the violations of the rights of LGBTQ+ persons, we will meet on Friday 18th of June at 3PM in front of the Hungarian Embassy.

Speakers:
Kryštof Stupka, LGBTQ+ activist and organizer of the protest
Adéla Horáková, Equal Marriage Campaign CZE
Tom Bílý, Director of the Prague Pride Festival
Lenka Králová, from the Trans*parent organization
