Casual Board Game Evening - "Wavelength"

A casual evening where we chat about whatever, accompanied by beer or any other non-alcoholic drink.

We'll also be playing a simple tabletop game to keep us entertained!

This evening, we'll be playing "Wavelength", which is a fantastic game for getting to know new people.

Quick description of the game:
1. We'll split into two teams, in each team, people take turns being the "psychic".
2. The psychic gets a scale from 0-100, and on it a randomly selected point. They then draw a random topic which describes what the scale represents - e.g. small vs. big.
3. The goal is for the psychic to give their team a clue, which they then use to try and guess the actual position on the scale as closely as possible.
4. The closer the guess, the more points the team gets. Then the other team begins.

At meetings

  • Loud notifications and beeps of mobile phones are switched off, we dedicate our time to each other
  • We involve new guests
  • The goal is to build authentic relationships in person
  • Smoking?
    • As far as possible, we don't smoke at the table, or as considerate as possible to others
    • If you cannot otherwise, leave the company individually for smoking, we do not wish to form smoking groups
